Adjusting to life with a baby requires practical, supportive solutions. My mission is to help you integrate babywearing into your daily routine with confidence, comfort, and peace of mind.

I provide professional instruction on ergonomic carrying. Together, we ensure your wrap, sling, or carrier well supports your baby’s anatomical hip and spine development while protecting you from back pain.

About Me

I am Arianna, a certified independent babywearing educator based in the Zürich area. I completed my technical training at the TrageAkademie Michaela Schelldorf. I created The Holding Space to bring babywearing knowledge to families in a warm, patient, and welcoming environment where parents can learn at their own pace.

Our Multilingual Community

Being so close to heart, babywearing is better spoken of in our native language. All home visits, private custom fittings, and sessions are available in:

• 🇮🇹 Italiano — Portare i piccoli in sicurezza, a portata di bacio

As for 🇩🇪 Deutsch, I was trained in German, so I have a good knowledge of the technical vocabulary. I however only have a B1 German level. I am happy to try and support you in the language you prefer.

Services & Pricing

I bring an extensive library of wraps, ring slings, half-buckles, and full structured carriers directly to you, so you can safely experiment before investing in your own equipment.

* Home visits within Zürich, Wollishofen, Kilchberg, Adliswil, Leimbach, Rüschlikon, Thalwil and Horgen are included. A flat travel contribution fee may apply for distances outside this perimeter.

Want to test a carrier in your day-to-day life before committing to a purchase? Planning a trip, or need an ergonomic solution for a few weeks while your baby grows into their next stage? You can rent wraps and carriers directly from my library.

• Full-Buckle Carriers: Intuitive structured carriers for front and back carries.
• Half-Buckle & Meh Dai: Buckle waistbands paired with adaptable, wrapping shoulder straps.
• Onbuhimo: Waistless back carriers suited for sitting babies and toddlers.

* Professional cleaning is included in the fee—please do not wash rented carriers or wraps at home to protect specialized textiles and buckles.
